Why did you decide to come to work at CROPP? Having just moved to the area, when a position opened with the warehouse, I was excited to join the team. My husband had been working with CROPP for almost a year and had positive things to say about the company and work environment.

How long have you been with CROPP? Since Spetember 2006

Why do you like working at CROPP? CROPP stands for something important. Not only do we work to keep farmers in business, but we also sell a great product that we can stand behind. With so many new chemicals and new findings on the causes of those chemicals, it’s great to know what we are putting into our bodies and the bodies of our families.

What has been the best experience or day you’ve had at CROPP thus far? Last year, I worked at the annual meeting to assist farmers in getting orders of Organic Valley/Organic Prairie products. It was great to be able to provide a service to our farmers and was wonderful to meet some of the wonderful people that we work for every day.

What’s your favorite perk/benefit? Having easy access to all of our products.

What’s your favorite Organic Valley or Organic Prairie product?Organic Valley Whole Milk.

Describe your typical workday at CROPP: Last year, I was part of the warehouse team. I was able to meet and work with many of our carriers, some of which have been hauling and delivering our products for many years. I have since changed positions and am now working with our production team. It’s great to be able to work with our partner companies that package our products. It’s nice to see our products complete the cycle from the farm, to the package, to the distributors, to the shelf. I appreciate even more every day the work that goes into providing such a great product to our consumers.

Describe your commute: I travel everyday through the hills and valleys of the Kickapoo Valley between Ontario and La Farge. A scenic view that is appreciated more due to having come from out of the area.

What other types of jobs have you held? I have worked in the promotional products industry. I have also worked alongside adults with developmental disabilities.

What are your other interests or hobbies? I love to spend quality time with my two small children (1 & 3). Nothing is more rewarding then watching them grow and learn.
