Why did you decide to come to work at CROPP? 
I grew up around many CROPP farmers and learned about the mission of the cooperative.  I wanted to work for an organization that I believed in.  It seemed to me that family farms have been overlooked in our global capitalized society.  I not only wanted to work for an organization that had a mission I believed in, but wanted to go work for those very farmers that work everyday to make our way of life healthier and sustainable; true stewards of the land.

How long have you been with CROPP? 
Since May 2006! 

Why do you like working at CROPP?  
The people who work here are super friendly and hard workers.  Everyone has such a good attitude and are believers in the mission of the cooperative. 

What has been the best experience or day you’ve had at CROPP thus far?   
Throughout the year and at our Annual Meeting, you get to meet so many of the farmers from all over the country.  It is a lot of fun to hear where everyone is from, and learn about the exciting things happening on their farms and in their regions.   

What’s your favorite perk/benefit?  
I most enjoy the fair trade coffee available throughout the entire work day! 

What’s your favorite Organic Valley or Organic Prairie product?   
The milk is probably the greatest thing you have ever had.  I promise you that once you start drinking Organic Valley milk, you will never want to drink any other brand out there!  I am also a big fan of the Feta—a great addition to just about any type of vegetable salad! 

Describe your typical workday at CROPP:    
My day always starts out with a strong cup of coffee; checking my emails and organizing and prioritizing my job duties for the day.  Most of my day is spent following up on action items from meetings, making sure that all the membership paperwork is being completed correctly, and assisting farmers calling into to the cooperative.  We also have a couple trails and like to take short walks during my break time.

Describe your commute:  
I live 30 minutes south of La Farge.  My drive allows me to follow the Kickapoo River all the way to work and enjoy the awesome scenery of each season. 

What are your other interests or hobbies?  
I enjoy running, riding my bicycle and my partner and I love taking walks through the woods.  When I have time, I love playing video games and going to dinner parties with friends.
