How long have you been with CROPP?
I've been happily employed by CROPP since October 2007.

Why do you like working at CROPP?
Working for a cooperative that promotes respect for interdependence of all life on earth, be it human, animal, plant, or soil, provides me with a sense of pride every day. Another reason is my co-workers of course, who I've grown to think of as my extended family.

What has been the best experience or day you’ve had at CROPP thus far?
I love the challenges my job presents on a daily basis. I leave at the end of my workday knowing that I've contributed to reaching cooperatives goals.

What’s your favorite perk/benefit?
I appreciate the Vacation and Paid Time Off benefits. CROPP is flexible with my schedule, allowing me to take personal days off, if needed. CROPP understands that our personal lives contain unique challenges, and sometimes you just need a day off.

What’s your favorite Organic Valley or Organic Prairie product?
I'll always have a soft spot for Organic Valley's chocolate milk. I also love Organic Valley's drinkable vanilla yogurt, its delicious alone and also great on cereal.

Describe your typical workday at CROPP:
I spend a great deal of time reconciling inventory between our remote production facilities and our resource planning system. I fill in the gaps by confirming loads shipped to customers.

Describe your commute:
I'm fortunate to live only 15 miles away. My commute brings me through the scenic countryside of Vernon County.

What other types of jobs have you held?
I've been employed as a pharmacy clerk, a Chinese food delivery driver, a window washer, a cashier, and a Accounts Payable clerk before coming to CROPP. As a young lad, I helped chop firewood, haul drinking water, harvest tobacco, and shake the household rugs out for my mom.

What are your other interests or hobbies?
I LOVE fly fishing, there's nothing like being on a tranquil stream at dawn. I also have a passion for astronomy. One of the greatest theaters is right above our heads. I enjoy researching celestial objects, and then hunting for them in the night sky. I'm currently investing in equipment which will allow me to photograph galaxies, nebulae, and other celestial phenomenon.
