Having the opportunity to do cutting edge work while promoting animal welfare.

What has been the best experience or day you’ve had at CROPP thus far?
This week I wrote an abstract detailing the dairy cow welfare audits I have done over the last year. I will present this information at the upcoming Dairy Science Association conference in New Orleans this July.

Describe your commute:
One hundred twenty miles to the office from the farm on a near weekly basis when not traveling elsewhere.

What other types of jobs have you held?
Dairy farmer, cheese processing plant quality control, fish hatchery, college student for 10 years.

What are your other interests or hobbies?
Gardening, houseplants, livestock, cooking for my mother-Ruth, son-Cody and his many friends who help out on the farm.
