Carley has been farming for 10 years on her family’s 3rd generation dairy farm in Southwest Wisconsin. The Peters Farm also produces eggs and raises hogs. In fact, Carley’s favorite chore is feeding piglets, though she also took charge of producing organic sweet corn this summer. Carley is a young farmer and marketing student at the University of WI-La Crosse and she loves to cook with locally sourced ingredients. She encourages others to research where their favorite fruits and vegetables are produced and what ingredients go into their favorite snacks so fellow consumers can choose to make lifestyle changes to support local farmers and healthy eating.
