Caroline’s first chore as a farm kid was feeding calves with her older sister Pascale on their crop and dairy farm near Fairchild, Wisconsin. This spring was her first attempt planting oats as part of the D’Huyvetter Farms’ rotation of corn, soybeans, hay, and wheat. The experience was inspiring as she felt she had accomplished something meaningful, knowing she had taken a step to provide feed for several animals and people. Caroline has dreams to diversify her family’s farm after completing her degree in Agronomy at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is excited to join the Gen-O Tour to share her wealth of organic farming knowledge and energy with others!
