Stephanie is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo with her BS in Dairy Science and minor in Ag Business. Two weeks after graduating, she started working for Amy’s Kitchen in the sourcing department as an assistant buyer for raw materials. She now lives and works on the dairy because it is her true passion. But, when she is not working she likes to travel and ride her horses. Stephanie was an avid horseback rider in high school and college where she competed in amateur and professional rodeos as a barrel racer and roper. Stephanie and her family currently have 2 dairies, housing 400 Holsteins cows at Triple C Ranch and 100 Jersey cows at Willow Creek Ranch in Petaluma, CA. Stephanie is excited about visiting classrooms because she first started learning about cows and the ranch life when she was in elementary school and she believes it is a good age to get kids to start learning about organic food and farming. Young children often have lots of questions, and are eager to learn about new things. She enjoys the sharing and seeing their excitement as they are learning new things!
