Celebrate Organic Recipe Contest Rules
Entries will be judged on flavor, originality, clarity and completeness of recipe, and best use of Organic Valley and Organic Prairie products in an autumn/winter holiday-focused dish or food gift. Limit of two entries per category per household. A recipe may be entered in only one category. Entries must be your own creation or an adaptation of another recipe, with credit given to the source. CROPP is not responsible for copyright infringement and reserves the right to edit or modify entered recipes. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age. Food professionals, employees of CROPP and CROPP contractors are not eligible to enter. By submitting recipes for this contest, entrants give permission to CROPP Cooperative to publish the recipes without compensation. Prizes are not redeemable for cash.
Recipes must be received by midnight, December 31, 2008 to be eligible. Winning entries will be announced and winners contacted by Friday, February 28, 2009. Winning recipes can be found after March 1 at www.organicvalley.coop/celebrate.
Prize Details
Grand Prize – An Organic Culinary Experience
A one-day local food adventure specially designed for you and up to three guests. This unique experience will include a tour of an organic family farm near you, accompanied by a local celebrity chef and an Organic Valley guide, and an on-the-farm gourmet meal with your host farm family.*
First Prize
The winner in each of the five recipe categories will receive 52 coupons for any Organic Valley butter.
Giving Back to Earth--Everyone Wins!
For every participant who enters their recipe(s), Organic Valley will give $1 to one of four Earth Steward partners - up to $5,000 per organization. Choose your favorite Earth Steward when you submit your entry.
