Bats

First off, I really enjoyed the bat newsletter, the artwork is excellent.Now about bats: I love bats, they are about the coolest animals. I wish I had a "bat house". I love to be outside at twilight so I can watch the bats zoom around eating all the bugs they can find. It is so cool. I have never been scared of them. When we used to live in a 2-storey cabin, we would sometimes get a bat upstairs. My kids and I would lay on the bed and watch it fly back and forth until it found the window to get out again.One time, about amonth ago, we were talking about this when all of a sudden (the front door was open to let in the breeze) a bat came swooping in. Our oldest son (20 years old) was the only one to freak out.(He didn't live in the cabin with us) I told him to just mellow out and the bat would find its way back out the door. It was so neat. I thought it was a cool coincidence that it came in just as we were talking about a previous bat experience.Marijane
