Cicadas

Hello Dan, Thank you for the nature lesson on Cicadas. My 6 year old daughter and I were taking one of our many long walks together when we came upon several, (eight my daughter excitedly counted), dry bug shells clinging to an old, vine-covered, wood fence in our neighborhood. We were bewildered and had no idea where they came from, and more importantly what had happened to the insects inside. How lovely to have our mystery solved. I think we will go back in search of additional Cicadas to see if we too might witness mother nature at her finest! We always enjoy your stories, thank you again, Angela
