Hi Dan,I just read your observations on the changing of the season.I too have for a few weeks now. I do love the seasons, and realize they all are important, but I do LOVE summer, and feel a little saddened to see it go. I have to keep reminding myself now is the time to begin to get ready to go inward, and prepare as all of nature is. We too are nature. So it's time for putting up sauses, pickles, berries, nuts. Getting the warmer clothes back out again. Getting the firewood stacked. The other day while I was making sweet gerkins to put up this came into my observations: Geese flying North,Monarchs,yellow-jackets around the sweets of canning. I just want to hug the garden for all it has given my family. All the beauty and food.Take care fellow nature friendPS, we didn't have a lack of rain at all this year. In fact it seemed to have rained every week and alot too! I think we are a couple of weeks behind this year which is alright by me. Kevin
