Just wanted you to know how much we appreciate reading such a wonderful story!  We live on the Army base here in Colorado Springs and see a lot of wildlife, which a lot of people do not realize that our bases are safe havens for a lot of different birds and animals.  We have always believed in organic farming and keeping the earth as natural as possible.  It is inspiring to read about country life and the living things that make us all stop to look and listen.  Thanks again for the inspiration.
