Love the articles and drawings

Only recently have been visiting this site and reading the articles and looking at Dan's artwork. It has gotten to be something which I look forward to doing at the end of my work day. I am originally from a relatively rural part of Ohio, wound up living in an urban area because of the economy, but no matter how many years it has been, have never lost my love of the outdoors. Seeing his work helps keep me in touch with my rural roots. As it is I feed so many of the local birds and get so much out of my tiny flowerbeds that it sometimes seems as if I am running a local bird sanctuary. Am even visited by hawks and raccoons. Still, there is no substitute for being surrounded by farms and open land. Thanks for the great stories and pictures. You are an amazing artist. Look forward to reading upcoming articles.
