Being down in Florida, I do enjoy your visual writing and can picture all you say in my mind.  We have lived in Alaska twice and in the northeast twice and I can relate to the wildlife.  Nothing is as great as actually seeing these things.  Thank you for your journal writing, it makes my day a lot of times when I read.  The other things in life don't seem so necessary when you have living things to watch and think about.
