red-tail hawks becoming vocal

Hi DanMy name is Jonathan and I am one of Organic Valley's dairy producers here in northern Vermont. I have a nature related question and I thought maybe you could answer it. For the past week, a couple of red-tail hawks have been very active around the farm. What is really different is that they are very vocal all day. Is there any reason for the hawks to suddenly be so vocal this time of year? My family and I enjoy your articles on OV's website, and maybe we will meet up someday. Hope you have an enjoyable fall.
