Holiday food is meaningful fare; it connects us to each other and to our roots. And when it’s made with organic ingredients, it’s a life-giving gift for family and friends, as well as future generations. What could be more delicious?
This season, celebrate organic and share your recipes! We’re looking for family traditions, ethnic specialties or a new twist from your holiday kitchen. Think Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, New Year’s Eve—even Winter Solstice.

Share Your Prizeworthy Recipes!
Make it organic and make it with love. Your recipe should feature Organic Valley and Organic Prairie products—dairy, eggs, meats, poultry, juice, soy or vegetables—and may be part of a holiday meal, a party preparation or a homemade food gift. And please tell us the story of your dish—its origins, what it means to you, or when and how you share it with others.

Grand Prize – An Organic Culinary Experience
A one-day local food adventure specially designed for you and up to three guests.
First Prize – Free Butter for a Year
One winner in each of five recipe categories will receive 52 coupons for any Organic Valley butter.

Entry Categories
- Appetizers and Snacks – Festive noshes for the office party or before the big meal, or an edible gift for that host with the most.
- Side Dishes – Go classic or get creative with vegetables, salads and soups.
- Main Courses – A centerpiece dish that defines the day: perhaps a stuffed bird, a glazed ham, or your family’s annual ethnic favorite.
- Holiday Sweets – Calling all cookies, candies, bars, tortes, pastries and pies.
- Breads and Baked Goods – Think yeast-raised rolls for the big meal, muffins for a holiday brunch or mini-loaves for gift-giving.
Winning recipes will be published on the Organic Valley website.
