The Organic Valley Web site adheres to a strict policy for ensuring the privacy of your—and your childrens'—personally identifiable information (such as name, address, e-mail, telephone number, and/or other identifiable information) and preserving the integrity of this online medium. Gathering and Use of Information
We will not collect personally identifiable information from you, other than that which you provide us on a voluntary basis.
We will NEVER sell or exchange your personal information to any other party or organization, without your explicit permission.

Web surfers should be aware that by voluntarily disclosing personal information on Organic Valley—or any other site's—bulletin boards, those details can easily be collected and employed by third parties. Tracking and Use of Cookies

With safety and quality as hallmarks of the Organic Valley brand, our handling of our Web site is no exception. We care about the online privacy and safety of all visitors to this site. If you are under 18 years old, please read this privacy policy with your parents and ask questions about anything you don't understand before submitting any information. If you are under 13 years old, you need to have your parents submit their contact information.
To ensure that this site stays safe and fun, we make the following promises:
To join Farm Friends and receive Rootstock, our e-newsletter, we require you to provide us with your e-mail address and zip code, only.
To receive our information kits or additional e-newsletters and updates, such as James' Journal or Down Nature's Trail, we require you to join Farm Friends and provide us with your full name and mailing address, in addition to your e-mail address and zip code. This information will not be used for any purpose other than delivering the material you have requested.
If you submit stories, artwork, or any other information to be posted on our site, your submission will be identified only by first name, city, and state.
If you ask Organic Valley to send an electronic postcard or tell-a-friend e-mail message, we will ask for your name and e-mail address as well as the name and e-mail address of the person who will receive the card or message. We will only use the names and addresses to deliver the postcard or message, and the information will be deleted when the postcard or message is sent.
As you explore our Web site, it is possible that several cookies will be placed in your computer (see information about cookies above). No personal information is ever stored in an Organic Valley cookie, even if you have entered your name or e-mail address on other parts of our Web site.
Parents may review and modify their child's personal information by using the e-mail that was provided, requesting a password reminder, and selecting "update profile" in the Farm Friends section of the site. Our communications to the child's e-mail address can be terminated by selecting "unsubscribe" on the footer of our e-newsletters or by contacting our Web Master with the child's e-mail address and asking to have it removed from our mailing list (see contact information below).
