The Star Valley Serenaders are a three-piece string band, whose heartland is found between Gays Mills and Viroqua. Tim Foss anchors the band with lively and expressive fiddling. Gary Evers keeps the beat moving forward on rhythm guitar. Hans Verick hammers out melody on the banjo.

The Serenaders blend influences from Cajun, Blues, and Jug band into a wide variety of fiddle tunes that include Waltzes, Hoe-downs, Two-steps, Rags, and Schottisches. When they “fire up” the rhythm machine, grab a partner and clog or “Flatfoot” in time.

4:30 pm to 5:00 pm

Jess B started her hooping career in 2007 in Madison, WI, and has since traveled all around the world with her collapsible hoops, teaching others how to whirl and twirl and find beauty within the orbiting circle. "Jess B", as she is most commonly referred to in the performance world, enjoys the meditative quality of hoop dance as well as the exhilarating feeling she gets from performing her dance for others. Hoop dance has been a transformative force in Jess B's life and has served as the root to her ever-growing tree of circus fascination. Currently, Jess B performs both hoop dance and aerial dance with a Madison-based troupe, Cycropia Aerial Dance. When she is not spinning around in her hoop, or flying through the air on a trapeze, Jess B enjoys teaching, hiking, biking, camping, growing organic fruits and vegetables and raising her urban chickens. Jess B is available for private and corporate events, and is reachable through her email: jessbhoopin(at)gmail.com
