Farmers' markets are one of the oldest forms of direct marketing by small family farmers. From the traditional mercados in the Peruvian Andes to the unique street markets in Asia, growers all over the world gather to sell their produce and goods directly to a hungry public.

In the last decade, new markets have started to appear regularly, and existing markets, some well over a century old, are seeing renewed growth in both North America and Europe. They have, once again, become a favorite marketing tactic for many farmers and a weekly routine for many shoppers.

The Cameron Park Community Market

The Cameron Park Community Market is the only vendor-run farmers' market in the La Crosse area. Cameron Park Community Market is committed to providing local, sustainably-produced produce, meats, dairy and other locally produced foods, as well as arts and crafts from local artists. Cameron Park Market operates every Friday from May through October, 4 p.m.- 8 p.m. in the heart of downtown La Crosse. Join us for music and family friendly entertainment.
