Antique Tractor Exhibit

Members of the Western Wisconsin Agricultural Museum and Antique Tractor Club of Western Wisconsin will be showing their beloved and painstakingly restored tractors. Tractors are a big part of the history of farming in the Midwest, and whether you like orange, red, or green, you will probably find Grandpa's old tractor at the exhibit. Members of the club will be on hand at scheduled times to answer your questions and maybe fire up a tractor for a little demonstration.

Driftless Folk School Demonstrations

Join area blacksmith, Robert Schulz from Hillsboro, WI, in an exciting, informative demonstration of the skill and art of hand forging With forge, anvil, and hammer, Robert will show how to work hot metal, prove its ability to be "moved", and create beautiful, functional ironwork. All ages welcome, questions encouraged. Learn of the educational opportunities through classes offered by the Driftless Folk School and Metamorphosis Forge.

Draft Horse Demo: Harnessing and Ground Driving

Members of the Driftless Folk School present an introduction to using horses for draft power. There will be a team of Suffolk Punch Draft Horses on site to demonstrate harnessing and the techniques of line driving and vocal commands. This will be a good experience for those interested in draft horse work to see the equipment needed to get started and learn the basics of driving. Those interested in trying their hand at driving are welcome. Informative for all, and a great experience for both adults and children.
