Volunteer at the Kickapoo Country Fair!
The 2009 Kickapoo Country Fair will be about hope in an uncertain economic time. This year it is more important than ever to share our support and optimism for a better future with our neighbors.

One of the important ways that the Kickapoo Country Fair contributes to the social and economic well-being of the community in which we live is through an innovative collaboration with regional not-for-profit groups. The Fair provides funding and a showcase for local good works in exchange for volunteer staffing for the event. Volunteers sign up to work on behalf of a community organization and that group receives volunteer “wages” for each hour worked. In 2008 this collaboration represented more than $12,000 raised to support local initiatives, including the Valley Stewardship Network, the Wisconsin Farmers Union, local school and community service groups and many more.
It’s simple; just sign up and support a nonprofit and that organization will receive $7.00 for each hour that you volunteer. Of course the satisfaction of supporting your community is enough, but look at everything else you get for being part of this exciting weekend!
- Enjoy a free weekend pass to the fair ($10.00 value)
- Wear a 2009 Kickapoo Country Fair t-shirt
- Win prizes in special door prize drawings for volunteers
- Eat delicious food from KCF vendors ($5.00 food voucher each day worked)
