In celebration of its 18th year as a Wisconsin-based cooperative of organic farmers, Organic Valley/CROPP Cooperative today announced it was presenting its most esteemed award, the Ray Hass Pioneer Award, to Fritz Steffes, a Chilton, Wisconsin farmer, at the cooperative's annual meeting on April 1st.

Organic Valley / CROPP Cooperative, the nation’s largest organic farmers’ cooperative, and Green Field Farms, a cooperative of traditional horse and buggy Amish and conservative Mennonite farmers based in Wayne and Holmes County, Ohio are pleased to announce a partnership that will enhance both cooperatives’ businesses.

Organic Valley Family of Farms, the nation's oldest and largest cooperative of organic farmers, is being presented the Earth Trustee Award by the Earth Society Foundation, an organization founded by Margaret Mead and John McConnell in 1976 to foster environmental projects that promote clean land, air and water.
