Say che-ese. Organic Valley, the first in the nation to offer organic cheese, is expanding its cheese offerings to foodservice distributors with 15 new options.
"By the slice or by the pound, our cheeses are delicious and nutritious," said John Marin, commercial division sales manager for Organic Valley. "We're proud to say we have the largest family of organic cheeses on the market today."
New varieties include:
- Bulk shredded cheese in 5 lb. packages, four packs per case:
- Mexican Blend angel hair fancy shred
- Italian Blend angel hair fancy shred
- Mild Cheddar coarse fancy shred
- Mozzarella coarse fancy shred
- Bulk cut cheese in 5 lb. packages, eight packs per case:
- Raw Sharp Cheddar
- Raw Mild Cheddar
- Pepper Jack
- Provolone
- Colby
- Monterey Jack
- Feta
- Muenster
"These varieties join our already existing line of bulk cut cheeses that include Mild Cheddar, Baby Swiss and Mozzarella," said Marin. "We're also expanding our bulk sliced cheeses beyond our existing Mild Cheddar and Reduced Fat Monterey Jack."
