Position:
Eastern Hauling Coordinator
Description:
Manage approximately 17 contracted farm milk haulers with 45-50 routes consisting of 700 milk producers. Territory includes states in MidEast and Eastern USA (Michigan, Indiana, Ohio Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine). Employment will be based at CROPP Cooperative headquarters in LaFarge, WI.
Duties:
Set up milk routes and periodically review efficiencies for cost effective changes Approve invoices Procurement of new contract milk haulers End relationships with contract milk haulers Disciplinary actions towards current contract milk haulers Day to Day Feedback to current contract milk haulers Project future milk hauling costs Command of CO-OP routing optimization software Assigned Departmental projects Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
Adequate computer skills with Outlook, Excel, and Access (or other database skills) Prefer 2-3 years of management experience in farm milk hauling industry. Other trucking industry experience will be considered.
