Position:

Invoice and Billing Associate

Description:

The Invoice & Billing Associate is responsible for activities related to invoicing and billing for all companies within CROPP Cooperative.  This can include but is not limited to invoicing all types of products, creating debits and adjustments to invoices and transmitting invoices to customers through various means.  This role is responsible for duties within the invoice & billing area so that all functions are cross-trained.

Duties:

Responsible for invoicing all types of products, including bulk milk, in a computerized ERP system & DSI. Create debits and adjustments to invoices as required. Ensure electronic transmission of invoices to customers. Responsible for mailing, e-mailing and faxing invoices to customers. Assist other departments with requests for copies of invoices, PO’s and other documentation. Assist in reconciliation of accounts receivable and general ledger on a monthly basis as needed. Assist in special projects as required. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

A minimum of a two year degree in accounting and one to two years of accounting experience. Practical accounting knowledge and skills are required, with knowledge of the dairy industry preferred. Must be well organized, detail oriented and accurate. Must have demonstrated knowledge in Excel, Word and accounting software. Must be a self-starter and have a lot of initiative. Must possess good communication skills. Limited travel to other cooperative sites or training may be required.
