Position:
Quality Assurance Technician - Part-Time
Description:
The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for many aspects of the Quality Assurance Department. Primary responsibilities are to manage information provided from production facilities, provide communication paths, and inventory and document various food products. Primary product lines include Dairy, Juice, Soy, and Eggs.
Duties:
o Receive and analyze test results from both internal and external labs on various products. o Coordinate the holding or release of product based on product test results. o Update and maintain database information. o Monitor and track consumer complaints by product line. o Coordinate and manage information from production facilities. o Perform microbiological and chemical lab testing on products. o Provide assistance to other Quality Assurance staff or other departments on research projects. o Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
o High School education or GED required, college degree preferred. o Lab/Quality Assurance/Customer Service experience preferred. o Experience with dairy strongly preferred. o Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. o Excellent verbal and written communication skills. o Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks. o Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail. o Self directed and willing to work in routine tasks.
