Proposal Evaluation and Review Process

FAFO is a competitive grantmaking fund; therefore, applicants should ensure that their proposals meet the defined criteria. Further, proposals will be evaluated based on the following guidelines:

• Education Criteria
• Advocacy Criteria
• Research Criteria

Review Process

The first 2009 grant deadline will be February 5. Proposals will be reviewed by the FAFO Committee beginning March 2. During the review process, applicants may be contacted for further information. Grant recipients will be notified in mid-April; all applicants will be notified of their grant status by May 1.
