We bought this better from an internet shopping mall and taste great. But I was wondering whether this butter is made from grain-fed or grass-fed cow's milk.
How come your prices are not easily viewed? I find this practice - not only here - to be deceiving. If you're upfront you're going to make the prices easily viewable; gee how hard would it be to list the prices along with the images?
Hi Jenny, We don't list prices because we don't determine the retail prices for our products. The prices for our products on the store shelves are determined by our retailer partners and may vary by store. Thanks for writing!

I have been using Organic Valley produce for many years. No one can beat the taste and reliability of OV.
Sir/Madam,
When you sell all your milk to consumers, what does the babies drink? Do you sell your baby cows to the veal industry? I would appreciate your response.
Thank you.
This is organic feedlot butter right? I mean, cream taken from milked cows that did not pasture at all. So...except for your pale Pasture butter all your other butters are derived from milk cream where the cows are fed organic GMO corn in a feed lot miserable "organic" right? I see the Pasture Butter is seasonal which means it's stored frozen, (which is fine) so, why not produce nothing but Pasture Butter and KEEP IT REAL, where ALL cows are not fed corn (which ruins their liver) and can graze contently on grass instead?. I'd pay more for it. This would be a REAL (pardon the pun) service. So how does this let you differentiate from Horzion Organic industrial production?
Wow butter that comes from grazing cows...what a novel concept. Would love to see more of it. Sure you're not blending it with organic feed lot cream? It's too pale for grass butter. But unless the customer owns a cow they will never know the difference right?
Hello Joe, All of our butters come from pastured animals, on pasture as weather permits. Most farmers in our cooperative feed a combination of grass/hay and various organic grains when pasturing is not an option. All of the feed our cows receive is organic and non-GMO. We do not have feedlot animals or offer feedlot products.
What differentiates our "Pasture Butter" is that it is produced during the peak pasture season - May through September - when pasture is at its most bountiful in much of the country. The Pasture Butter is thus a richer product. We freeze some Pasture Butter so that it can be enjoyed at other points in the year, as it keeps quite well when frozen.
However, all of our butter is pasture-based. Thank you for the opportunity to address your concerns.

I wanted to make Ghee out of Organic butter, is it recommended? Can Organic Valley ship me in bulk like 10lbs, since it is not available where I live?

Hi Quinton, There are no food dyes in our butter.
