I would like a whole milk cottage cheese...why is your skim milk?
Tracy at Organic Valley

Thanks for the feedback, Suchitra. Our tasty cottage cheese recipe uses delicious organic cream (instead of whole milk) to raise the fat level making our nutritious 2% and 4% milkfat products.

Salt itself is not the issue. Himalayan Pink or the really pristine sea salts will not effect your B/P. It's the CHEMICALLY stripped and recombined NaCl (ie Morton's)that attracts fluids to it that causes edema, weight gain, and general health issues. Your body views it as the toxin it is and tries to dilute & flush it out. Dont know what kind of salt OV uses....

The misguided folks demanding lower sodium in your organic cottage cheese recipe have learned just enough from the mainstream media to become dangerous to anyone foolish enough to ascribe to their rhetoric. Historically, wars have been fought over disputed salt deposits, and, in reasonably healthy people, sodium does not contribute to high blood pressure to any significant degree. These folks simply need to balance their sodium with some potassium from a few fruits and veggies. Your recipe is outstanding as it is. No changes necessary!

Not to be redundant, but i would also like to see a low or no-sodium version. Also I want to buy your Yogurt but it is no available for some reason at our Whole Foods-- would love it if they could start carrying your yogurt. thanks!

I would also buy your product if you took out the sodium.

I am happy to see that you are an advocate of GMO free food, I have been purchasing your cheese and milk products at the local Trader Joe's Market. Just today through research I did I realized that you do use a GM ingredients which is citric acid. Please clarify the use of this or if it possible for you to remove this GM component from your milk. Thank you.

I would also appreciate a lower-sodium version. No, not everyone has BP issues (including me), but if you pay attention to labels you will notice that there is plenty of sodium in just about every food product, and most Americans get WAY more than they should. Health problems or not, reducing sodium where possible is not a bad idea... and the amount of sodium in a single serving of cottage cheese is a bit ridiculous.

It would be great to have a reduced sodium, non-fat version.

Another vote here for a low-salt / no-salt-added variant. Some of us pay close attention to our potassium:sodium ratios and would like to prevent future (or remedy current) health problems that come from this. I believe there is a good market for a low salt organic cottage cheese, as it's quite hard to find. I would buy about 4 pounds per week myself.
