Hi Megan - Thanks for the note. We are very proud of the products our farmers produce and know that great products come from great animals. Our egg laying hens are fed a 100% organic diet with a grain ration consisting of soybeans, corn, and small grains, such as wheat, barley, oats, and flax. I hope this helps and if you have any other questions, please let us know!
Hi Lynda - To ensure you're getting the freshest most delicious Organic Valley products, we don't recommend consuming anything past its code date. You may find the USDA's website helpful for information on life expectancy of an egg and guidelines for food dating. Thanks!
Hi Diana, Organic Valley shell eggs are raw, never pasteurized.
However, our organic egg whites are pasteurized. This makes them a great choice for use in salad dressings, protein drinks, and any time you need to use eggs uncooked. Thanks for writing!
