Perhaps some of the folks commenting above are not aware that most orange juice is chemically altered to achieve that consistent taste.

Thanks for writing, Laura. Organic Valley orange juice is always just that - certified organic orange juice. (The one exception is our calcium-added oj, which has tri-calcium citrate, a supplement derived from limestone that is approved for use in certified organic foods.)

I huge fan of OV products and we buy 3 of them weekly! I was so excited when I visited the grocery store to see that OV had an orange juice. I immediately put back my other brand and grabbed the OV carton. I was looking forward to the glass of OJ all day until morning.
I was SO DISAPPOINTED and almost poured out the whole thing. I agree with the comments fromvKen from Taos, NM. I was terrible and I WILL NOT buy it again.
NEEDS MAJOR IMPROVEMENT in taste and color. I would only expect it to be a USA product.

I was happy to see your OJ back on the shelf, so I bought several cartons.

I was quite surprised to discover this morning that even though your carton size is identical, you've reduced the volume of the contents by 5 ounces (~8%), without calling the purchaser's attention to this fact.

This is less than honest.

A consumer should not need to examine a "half gallon" container to see that it contains 64 ounces.

It also tastes bland and seems watered down, and doesn't even have the expected color.

I had trusted your company, but no longer. It seems you are willing to cut corners without informing people clearly. You've just lost a customer.

Our family has been purchasing a range of OV products for many years. And like many, we were disappointed when the orange juice disappeared due to crop damage. However, now that this juice is back on the shelves, we went ahead and purchased it again. But we were disappointed. This is NOT the original OV orange juice. This is a product of Mexico; we are unaware of any OV family farms from Mexico that are part of the "co-op." My wife was very disappointed in the taste of the juice, saying that it had a medicinal taste. Read the fine print. This is not produced by OV farms. It is merely "distributed" by OV. Again...very disappointed.

Dear Ken, We apologize for your disappointment.  Due to unexpected weather conditions, the orange crop in Florida last year did not meet expectations for supply and demand. Therefore, we are currently also sourcing from a certified organic cooperative in the Sonora region of Mexico.

I was disappointed to find your OJ missing from the stores I go to. One regular grocery stopped carrying it because they said it was a "slow mover". Needless to say I don't shop there any more. My health food store didn't have it either. Looking forward to seeing it again soon. Love the taste and that it's organic.

Since I have been unable to find OV orange juice I have tried various other brands, mostly organic, but none of them matches the taste I came to expect having grown accustomed to the superb flavor of Organic Valley brand juice. I cannot wait until you resume production of this wonderful juice.

I LOVE this orange juice! The juice with pulp is the only one I like and I have tried most brands. The flavor is delicious!! And because it's organic that settles it for me. So looking forward to seeing it again on the shelves again in spring 2011.

As an orange juice connoisseur, I will ONLY drink either Florida's Natural or Tropicana (since both are equally good, I buy whichever is on sale), however, since recently going 100% organic, I decided on giving Organic Valley orange juice a try and...WOW! It TRULY is the best I have ever tasted! And I am incredibly PICKY with my orange juice!

I purchased Organic Valley Organic Orange Juice at Healthy Home Market in Charlotte, NC and it was so fresh and delicious!! After finding out about GMOs and how the FDA does not actually care about us,"organic" is the wave of the future. Thanks for a superior product!! : D
