Thanks for the note! You can rest assured knowing our delicious orange juice does not have any chemicals or mixtures added to it and is just as nutritious as ever!

In efforts to provide you with wholesome organic orange juice 365 days of the year, our oranges are harvested, squeezed, and held aseptically. Demand for our juice as well as seasonality dictates the length of time it will be stored. When needed, our juice is taken out of storage to be pasteurized, packaged, and then sold at you local retail store!

Can you give a little detail about the process that goes into creating your juice? Specifically, I want to know what happens between the juicing and the product showing up on the shelf. Do you store it in vacuum vats for up to a year, then add back in flavorings before packaging so it tastes like orange juice?

Hi Jason - Thanks for the note. At Organic Valley we endeavor to make our wholesome orange juice available 365 days of the year. To do this, our oranges are harvested, squeezed, and then stored aseptically. Demand for the juice as well as seasonality of the orange harvest will determine the length of time it is stored. When needed the juice is sent from storage to be pasteurized, packaged, and sold. Orange oil, pressed from the orange peels upon harvest, is added for the delicious flavor and aroma many of our consumers have come to love.

Rest assured, we don't remove or add any ingredients except orange pulp and calcium for those specific varieties offered.

I purchased organic valley orange juice after drinking a glass it did'nt taste right to me I tried it again but it definitively did not taste right.I looked at the container and saw it came from Mexico.I Support family farms and never looked to see where it came from I will only buy orange juice when it comes from the U.S. I had to throw it away. I reported to your customer service and after giving all the code #'s I was told they will check the samples. I still love organic valley I will just be more careful.

We apologize for your disappointment. An off taste can be the result of a a handling or refrigeration problem at the distributor, trucking or retailer level. As a small cooperative, we take great pride in our products. Any problem is considered serious and given full attention.

Due to unexpected weather conditions, the orange crop in Florida last year did not meet expectations for supply and demand. Therefore, we are now also sourcing from a certified organic cooperative in the Sonora region of Mexico. However our juice is always certified organic and we apply the same strict quality standards for all juice we source.

I love Organic Valley OJ. It is the only orange juice that my entire family will drink. It tastes great plus it's organic and supports a small family farm. How can it get better than that? I drove everywhere looking for it and no one carried it. I was not happy. Please hurry and bring back OV OJ.
