I would like to add something to the comment I just submitted. Often, people are concerned about the "fat" in milk products. Organic dairy products naturally have milk that is higher in omega fatty acids and lower in saturated fat, AND... does not have "fat-soluble" toxins, drugs, hormones, and other poisons (e.g. from cows being fed "animal by-products"), as well as being at risk for transmitting "prions" (microorganisms that transmit mad cow disease, scrappy, and Cruzfeldt-Jacob disease.) If you are feeding this milk to your growing children or teenagers, they NEED this fat for the myelination of their rapidly growing nervous systems.

Thanks again for all your comments, Linda :-)

I am a primary care physician, but I have been interested in organic farming and gardening since I was a teenager! (You should add a "button" that says, "All of the above"!) There are so many benefits to producing and consuming organic products that it's impossible to summarize them here. Needless to say, I'm a big proponent with my patients! It's important that people inform themselves about the companies from where they buy their products too. There is just not enough oversight and verification of true, organic, humane practices being performed consistently and honestly, and you owe it to yourselves, (and the Earth and future), to be informed.

Great product!

Hi Linda - We definitely agree to the benefits of producing great organic products, and are glad to hear you're pleased with ours. Thank you for your feedback!

Please folks, don't be angry because you didn't read a label correctly. If you don't like the milk, don't buy it. No one is forcing you to drink it, besides, some of us like the added omega 3's. I swear, people just need a reason to complain to someone

I had a horrible reaction over the holiday to your product. I was at a party and added your milk to my coffee. I noticed a strange flavor and couldn't pin point it. I would have never thought it would be the milk!!!!!! Little did the host know you've added fish products to your milk. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PUT ON FRONT OF YOUR PACKAGES!!!!!!!!!
Tracy at Organic Valley

Hi Taylor,

Thanks for writing. We're sorry to hear about your experience.

Rest assured, we only add fish oil to our milk that is labeled "Omega-3." The rest of our milk line remains unchanged- just good organic milk!

I'm forwarding your comments to my colleagues for consideration in future package design. However, if you have a fish allergy, you may want to be aware that many omega-enriched products are sourced from fish, as it is the most balanced and accessible form of Omega-3's.

Thank You as offering this as a choice, much prefer this than taking a capsule of oil any day. And I love fish!

Tastes delicious. I already take Omega-3s but I suppose more can't hurt
Janet from Lawrenceville, GA on November 21st, 2011
Please say it ain't so! Your company was standing with me and so many other AGAINST these additives in milk! Why did you change sides, Turncoats!
Angie at Organic Valley

Hi Janet, Thank you for writing. We are offering this product because many customers have requested it. Be assured that we will continue to offer our regular organic milk, for those folks who prefer it in the traditional state!

Susan B from Atlanta, GA on October 31st, 2011
I too unfortunately purchased your milk with fish oil. As other customers have stated this is gross!!! I have since discovered that other organic milk producers are doing the same thins, but just because one fool jumps off a cliff does not mean that you should follow them. This is the worst product marketing idea since New Coke.Who wants fishy-milk? No one!!!I returned my milk to the store and NEVER buy it again.
Marn from AZ on October 23rd, 2011
I just noticed that you are adding fish oil to milk! Why on earth would you do that?! That's disgusting and might even be detrimental to customers' health. I, for one, already take daily omega 3 as well as vitamin D. You could be overly saturating people with too much of these things. I prefer to take my own personal daily dosages without having to read ever label and try to calculate just how much of all the different vitamins and supplements I'm now ingesting. Please stop "helping" us and just go back to providing what we thought we were buying all along -milk! Plain ol' unadulterated milk. We don't need any babysitters for our vitamins. You might also adjust your labels to clearly state this so people can have the option to buy something else. Also, most talapia is from China, farm raised which brings up another health issue.
Angie at Organic Valley

Hi Marn, We only add fish oil to our "Omega-3" milk - the rest of our milk line has not been changed, so you can certainly still get your organic, pasture-raised milk without supplementary omega-3 if you prefer. Thank you!

Hello All,
I'm curious to try this product, while remembering we all have a choice in the products we buy.

For the strict vegetarians: does the "regular" OV milk which is fortified with Vitamin D derived from sheep lanolin make that product unacceptable?
