I agree with Megan! I would love whole milk in the single serving size for my daughter.
Megan from Single serving whole milk on January 17th, 2012
I think you need to make whole mIlk in single servings too! It would be perfect for moms with little ones. It would be so much more convienent to grab one and send it with my daughter to her babysitters.
Please consider, I think a lot of moms would buy it! I'd be th first in line!

Thanks, Megan! We'll be sure our product team hears your request.

You need another reason why we love OV milk... humane animal treatment, grass fed, grazing cows. Right?
Tracy at Organic Valley

Right on, Tiffany! Not only is taking great care of our animals the right thing to do, but it's our business! Our animals are what keep our farmers and co-op running which is why humane treatment and diet are of the utmost importance to us. Thank you for applauding our efforts.

I love whole milk and this is the best I have ever had in my life. It is a bit pricey but worth it.

My sons had terrible sinus issues and was told to either go completely off milk or only give them fresh nonpasteurized, nonhomogenized milk. They were quite healthy going that route, but it is time consuming to drive half an hour to a local dairy. Has anyone else with sinus issues tried Organic Valley with good results?

Please consider carrying Whole milk that is lactose free! My daughter loves your milk but, she is 16 months old and is allergic to milk and we can't find a organic milk that is whole and lactose free. I know a lot of Mom's in the same situation and their kids are drinking almond milk instead. Please consider carrying whole lactose free milk. Thank you and we really miss your yummy milk

Can't believe so many are willing to drink Ultra Pasteurized milk. Doesn't it give you a clue about what's left alive in it, when it can sit on the shelf for months?? No milk that comes from healthy cows has to be heated to such a temp. I will take my Natural by Nature grass fed over any "national" organic any day.
Angie at Organic Valley

Hello Cindy, We offer both pasteurized and ultra-pasteurized versions of our organic milk, as some people prefer one or the other. Many consumers prefer UP milk because of its longer shelf life.

We package our milk in gallon containers, half gallon cartons and quart containers. The half gallon is available both regularly pasteurized and ultra pasteurized. The gallon is only available regularly pasteurized. The quart is only available ultra pasteurized.

I see the regular whole milk has almost gone off the shelfs in Hialeah/ Miami area.. just wondering why..I can't live with out my whole milk.. the one publix store said it was on back order??? just wonder what is going on with the whole milk.. thanks
Angie at Organic Valley

Hi Denise, I do not know for certain why you are having difficulty finding the whole milk in your area, as we are still producing it in all our regions. There could be a few reasons for the problem. The distributors for the stores in your area could be having issues with inventory management; there is always the chance that a particular store has decided to discontinue the whole milk (you can check with the dairy manager); demand for the product could be up, affecting supplies.

Ultimately, we have no control how the distributors or retailers handle their inventory. I hope that you will find the product back on the shelves soon.

For a long time (9 years to be exact) I could not stomach generic "regular" milk from stores, I threw up everytime. Then I tried every alternative I could find - coconut, rice, soy, almond milk you name it I tried it! And yet I was miserable. I gave up on anything I used milk for: cereal, coffee, oatmeal, or just plain drinking. 2 days ago, one taste of OV and it was refreshing. I almost finished a gallon in 2 days! I've read all the comments on the Whole/Omega 3 milk and frankly I disagree with many of the negative ones. TRUST ME when I say this: I DID NOT DRINK MILK FOR 9 YEARS! And Organic Valley has made me a believer! THANKS!(Could I get some coupons for Whole milk?)

I've been trying to find out from your website whether the D3 used in your whole milk is from a fish source or vegetarian source? It's frustrating and disappointing, as a lactovegetarian (no eggs, meat, fish, poultry), to realize there may be fish in milk I buy.

Do I have to become a vegan?
Angie at Organic Valley

Hi Charlotte, The Vitamin D added to our milk is made by processing a sterol derived from lanolin in (sheep wool). While this D3 is obtained from sheep, it is considered Kosher and pareve because the sheep are not slaughtered to obtain the wool. I'm not sure whether this fits into a lactovegetarian diet, but I hope this information will help you to determine that.

Our Omega-3 milk is the only Organic Valley milk that contains fish oil and it is stated in the ingredient list on the carton.

Thank you for writing!
