I agree, cornstarch should not be in sour cream. This is one area where I will stick to the non-organic version [.....] for now, that is just cultured cream.

Hi Kristin - Thanks for your feedback. Cornstarch, as an ingredient, is used in our sour cream as a thickening agent. We are actively working to eliminate cornstarch from our sour cream, and at the same time, maintain the same great flavor profile. Please keep checking back with us for any future changes.

Sour cream should be made only with whole cream without skim milk, nonfat milk and additives. There is no place for additives like corn starch, potatoe starch, locust bean gum, guar gum, citric acid, vinegar, inulin, cellulose etc. in the OV products!

We currently add non-GMO cornstarch to our Organic Valley Sour Cream as a thickening agent, but we are actively working to eliminate cornstarch from our sour cream, while maintaining the same superior flavor profile. We do not add any gums to our sour cream.

I wish you'd eliminate the corn starch from this product!! Other high quality sour creams are just cream and culture. Disappointing! The corn starch gives this product and awful texture. OV can do better!!

hard to find organic dairy products in my local store and when i buy sourcream...i always buy organic valley!
