Says Sheri, "It is a new family favorite at celebrations throughout the year. We often have 25-30 people getting together for food and fun and they really appreciate having something so savory to snack on while waiting for the main meal. Lots of bonding is done around the cheese ball plate!"

  • 16 ounces Organic Valley cream cheese, softened
  • 4 ounces Organic Valley feta cheese, crumbled
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 5 green onions, finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 teaspoons dried dill weed
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 14 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 1 cup pecans, crushed (or walnuts)

In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, feta cheese, olive oil, green onions and garlic. Season with dill, oregano and pepper. Mix well and form into 2 balls. Roll in crushed nuts. Cover and chill for 2 hours. Serve with crackers and crudites.
