I noticed your comments concerning carrageenan and your whipping cream from 3 years ago. Are you still trying to eliminate the carrageenan? I would like to buy your cream, as it's at my store but not if it has carrageenan.

Thanks for the simple-ingredient recipe. I think people have a problem with the "controversy in using carrageenan" because many of us do not want any additives, period. I am personally sick of people adding things to my food. Buy a cow? Puh-leez.

Carrageenan creates havoc on many people's digestive system. Mine included. The pasturized (NOT Ultra P) heavy cream without the carrageenan is very hard to find. Most grocers don't even know there's a difference. To use, you just shake it up in the carton before pouring (like Granny used to do). Much cleaner tasting too.

Try Agave or "raw" honey for sweetner, both are organic

Try Agave or "raw" unprocessed honey, both are true organic sweetners

A simple organic sweetner with the full body taste of refined sugar is Agave, another alternative is "raw" unprocessed honey. Both are pretty interchangeable in taste to me.

exactly how much does this recipe make? I have a 5qt. freezer.

My kids liked it with maple syrup. Do you carry dairy that is 100% grassfed? Organic with some grass is great but we are hearing a lot about the benefits of 100% grassfed.

I'm with Kaitlin - why the controversy over carrageenan???? Yes, fewer ingredients are better, but if you need to add them for stabilization in shipping (the reason in the case of whipping cream) then it's best to use a natural ingredient - which carrageenan IS - instead of chemicals.
If you want the MOST minimal ingredients in your whipping cream - buy a cow.
