A blend of exotic and sensual tastes for a totally organic experience.

Pour the boiling water over organic black tea bags in a large saucepan. Cover and let stand 4 to 6 minutes. Remove tea bags. Stir in sugar and cocoa powder. Cook and stir over medium heat just until mixture just comes to boiling. Reduce heat. Stir in Organic Valley 2% Milk , vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, and cardamom; heat through. Do not boil. Carefully pour into mugs. If desired, top with a dollop of homemade Organic Valley Whipped Cream.

*** Sweet shortcut alert! Try Organic Valley Chocolate Milk in this recipe! Simply cut out the cocoa powder, reduce the added sugar and substitute Organic Valley Chocolate Milk for the Organic Valley 2% white milk. Try Organic Valley's famous Chocolate Milk in your next cup o'joe for an instant organic mocha!

Serving Suggestions

Serve as an after dinner treat to help digest those bountiful harvest helpings!

Tea Time Info: the Assam variety of black tea is what we traditionally use for chai tea. However organic green tea offers less caffeine and oodles of anti-oxidants, or for a non-caffeinated version, try organic rooibos tea bags.
