Warming spices infuse with sweet peas & homemade organic paneer to create an exotic adventure into fine lactose-free Indian cuisine.
Heat the ghee in a large Dutch oven. Add cubed paneer and brown over medium heat. Add chopped onions and minced garlic. Cook until onions turn light brown. Add ginger, curry, cayenne, cumin, garam masala, and tamari. Cook for 1 minute or so. Add fresh, diced tomatoes (if desired, you may substitute 1-15 ounce can of undrained, organic diced tomatoes). Add the peas, salt, cook covered on low flame, stirring occasionally until peas are quite soft (the traditional consistancy). Serve with steamed basmati rice.
