Think fruit crisp, but easier. My husband's family goes gaga over this old family recipe of sliced peaches blanketed with buttery graham cracker crumbs. Bake it during dinner and serve it as a bedtime snack--with ice cream if you like. It’s also irresistible for breakfast, after-school, or dessert.
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Butter an 8-inch square baking pan.
Spread peach slices in pan. Combine graham crackers, sugar, and melted butter in a bowl until crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over peaches.
Bake 20 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Sliced pears or berries may be substituted for the peaches.
