This grilled cheese is a spicy, tangy explosion of flavor.
2 slices sourdough bread
Organic Valley Butter
2 slices Organic Valley American Cheese Singles
½ small Granny Smith apple, sliced thin
½ small red onion, sliced thin
Fresh basil leaves
1 slice Organic Prairie sliced chicken breast
1 strip Organic Prairie bacon, cooked crispy
Dash Simply Organic cayenne pepper
Butter one side of each slice of bread and place on griddle or Panini press, buttered side down. Spread mayonnaise, and put a slice of cheese on each piece of bread. Sprinkle cayenne on cheese. Place chicken, bacon, onion, apple and basil on one piece of bread. Top with remaining piece. Grill sandwich over medium heat until browned on both sides and cheese is melted. Cut and serve immediately. Remove from griddle or Panini press. Slice in half and enjoy!
