The instructions below yield a classic White Russian cocktail—simple, elegant and perfectly suited for winter festivities. For an eye-opening extra, add a small shot of pre-chilled espresso to the mix.
Fill a fancy tumbler with chunky ice cubes (don’t use crushed ice or you’ll water down the drink too much). Pour on equal parts of vodka, coffee liqueur and cream or half and half. Stir well, then sip slowly.
