Apple-icious Breakfast Quesadilla
Cheesy, sweet and easy! This quesadilla could sway even the most picky eater to munch a great breakfast.

Ingredients:
2 6" flour tortillas
1/2 cup applesauce, unsweetened (homemade and/or organic)
1/4 cup Organic Valley Shredded Reduced Fat Monterey Jack Cheese
2 Tablespoons Organic Valley Low Fat Sour Cream
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (or to taste)
1-2 teaspoons honey or organic maple syrup (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400°.
Place one whole wheat flour tortilla on an ungreased baking sheet. Spread half of the applesauce over tortilla; reserve half for garnish. Sprinkle half of cinnamon over applesauce. Top with cheese and second tortilla. Sprinkle remaining cinnamon on top.
Bake at 400° for 6 to 8 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 2 minutes.
Cut into quarters and serve with reserved applesauce and sour cream. Add honey or maple syrup to these garnishes (or mix in more cinnamon) if desired.

leave out the apples,honey and cinnamon.Instead use:precook organic turkey in garlic olive oil sausage-green onions,sea salt,fresh ground red/white/black peppercorns! you can top w/homemade white sauce.OMG-YUM YUM time and easy.

Gave it a whirl. Quite easy to make, but I couldn't really taste the apples very well. May have been just me though.

I would use apple pie filling or chunky apple sauce instead of plain apple sauce to give it some texture.
