1 tablespoon Organic Valley Salted Butter
4 flour tortillas
4 ounces Organic Valley Monterey Jack Cheese - Reduced Fat
2 tablespoons salsa
Instructions:
Heat small pats of Organic Valley Butter in each of 2 heavy large skillets over medium-high heat. Add 1 tortilla to each skillet. Top each with 1/4 of Organic Valley cheese (try Monterey Jack, Pepper Jack, or Cheddar) and 1 tablespoon of your favorite organic salsa.
Add optional toppings like avocado, grilled veggies, portabello mushrooms, and/or Organic Valley steak or chicken. Top each with 1 tortilla. Cook until bottoms are golden brown, about 3 minutes. Turn quesadillas over. Cook until bottoms are golden brown and cheese melts, about 3 minutes.
Transfer to cutting board to cool before packaging. Cut each quesadilla into 6 wedges.
Repeat with remaining butter, tortillas, cheese, optional goodies, and salsa.
Note:
Kids in the Kitchen:
School aged kids can grate the cheese and chop veggies. Older folks (skilled teens and adults) can deal with the cookin'! ENJOY!
