Mexican Hot Chocolate

Ingredients:
1 1/2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon instant coffee granules
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 dash sea salt
3 cups Organic Valley Whole Milk
Instructions:
Combine organic chocolate, sugar, coffee, cinnamon, salt and 3/4 cup milk in medium saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Heat to boiling; reduce heat and simmer uncovered, stirring constantly for 3-5 minutes.
Stir in the remainder of milk and heat through but do not boil. Remove from heat and whip hot chocolate mixture with a wire whisk until foamy.
Pour into mugs and top with homemade whipped cream. Garnish with a whole cinnamon stick.
Note:
Discover organic and fair trade chocolate! If unsweetened chocolate cannot be found easily, try organic dark chocolate chips and reduce the added sugar to taste.
