Organic Chocolate Chai
A blend of exotic and sensual tastes for a totally organic experience.

Ingredients:
1 1/3 cups boiling water
3 tea bags
1/4 cup sugar
2 2/3 tablespoons cocoa powder
5 1/2 cups Organic Valley Whole Milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/3 teaspoon cinnamon
1/3 teaspoon ginger root
1/3 teaspoon cardamom
2 cups Organic Valley Heavy Whipping Cream
Instructions:
Pour the boiling water over organic black tea bags in a large saucepan. Cover and let stand 4 to 6 minutes. Remove tea bags. Stir in sugar and cocoa powder. Cook and stir over medium heat just until mixture just comes to boiling. Reduce heat. Stir in Organic Valley 2% Milk , vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, and cardamom; heat through. Do not boil. Carefully pour into mugs. If desired, top with a dollop of homemade Organic Valley Whipped Cream.

Note:
Tea Time Info: the Assam variety of black tea is what we traditionally use for chai tea. However organic green tea offers less caffeine and oodles of anti-oxidants, or for a non-caffeinated version, try organic rooibos tea bags.
