Hunny Bunny Hot Cocoa



The perfect end to a day of snow play, this warming classic inspires rosy cheeks and Eskimo kisses. Top with homemade whipped cream for a real winter wonderland treat!

Ingredients:

3 ounces bittersweet chocolate (organic and fair trade)
1 tablespoon honey (or to taste)
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (ground)
2 cups Organic Valley Reduced Fat Milk 2% Milkfat

Instructions:

Combine the chocolate, honey, cinnamon and 1/2 cup of the milk in a small, heavy saucepan. Whisk constantly over medium-low heat to melt the chocolate until the mixture forms a smooth paste. Then slowly pour in the rest of the milk, whisking until warmed through. Serve while warm in favorite mugs. Top with homemade whipped cream and sprinkles of cinnamon.

Note:

The key to melting chocolate is patience. Use a heavy saucepan and take a deep breath.
