Sweet Maple Baked Apples

Ingredients:

4 large apples (your favorite organic choice)
2 tablespoons maple syrup (Maple Valley)
2 teaspoons cinnamon (powder)
2 tablespoons raisins (optional)
1 teaspoon Organic Valley Salted Butter

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Prepare 1 apple for each serving by washing and removing the core, leaving a plug at the bottom. This can be done by cutting in with a knife "V" fashion. Slit skin horizontally around the center with a sharp knife.

Fill the apple's cavity with Maple Valley brand maple syrup. A quarter teaspoon of Organic Valley Butter and raisins may be added. Bake for 45 minutes or until tender when pierced with a fork.

Note:

For a fat-free version, simply add 1/2 cup of Organic Valley Orange Juice to the apple filled baking dish and simmer in the citrus flavor.
