We’re a food company owned and run by
organic farmers working cooperatively
Organic Valley is a cooperative made up of approximately 1,500 small family farms. We make organic milk, eggs, butter, cheese, cream, and more, and we deliver them to people around the country. We’re proud to say that we are trailblazers, producing organic food even before organic had any sort of certification.

Our Roots
Once upon a time (OK, 1988), a group of farmers in Wisconsin agreed that the food system that they were part of wasn’t working — for them, for you, or for anyone who actually cared about what was on their plates. So, that group of farmers decided to put boots on the ground and started an organic food movement. Spoiler: It worked.

Your Farmers
You don’t have to wake up before sunrise or milk cows in sub-zero temperatures to get incredibly delicious dairy. But when you choose Organic Valley® products, you’ll be supporting the people who do— our farmers who put in the hard work to bring you the products you love.

We Give a Cluck
Sustainability is a core value of Organic Valley. Our farmers engage in sustainable farming practices, such as rotating pastures, planting trees, and protecting pollinators, all while producing nourishing, wholesome organic dairy and eggs. Bonus: By farming organically, we estimate that collectively our farms have kept over 540 million pounds of agrichemicals off the land since our founding in 1988.
Wholesome Food, Grown As Nature Intended
We’re bringing the farm to you (minus the 4 a.m. wake-up call).
