Every kid deserves healthy and delicious food.

This month, you can help!

One organization makes it their mission to improve the lives of children across the country through a closer connection to their food. The National Farm to School Network’s mission is to “increase access to local food and nutrition education to improve children’s health, strengthen family farms, and cultivate vibrant communities.”

Organic Valley has been proudly working with the National Farm to School Network (NFSN) for a few years now. When we found out we had the opportunity to partner with food cooperatives that are members of the National Co-op Grocers (NCG) to help NFSN, we jumped at the chance.

At Organic Valley, we’ve been putting healthier options on store shelves for 30 years. Now, with the help of NCG, schools in local communities across the country have the opportunity to learn about and grow their own organic food through NFSN. All you need to do to help is choose Organic Valley at your local NCG store.

Want to Help? Do More With Your Milk Money!

Throughout August 2019, when you buy any Organic Valley product at your local NCG-affiliated food cooperative, a $1 donation will go to the National Farm to School Network’s school garden program. As a cooperative, care and appreciation for community is literally part of our DNA, and how better to serve the community than to improve the food and food education in schools.

This month, your milk money will go even further. As always when you buy Organic Valley, you will be supporting small family farms and choosing a more sustainable option for people and the planet. But for a short time, you can also help the local children in your community while you enjoy our butter, eggs, milk and more

The 3 NCG stores that sell the most Organic Valley products during August will get to choose 3 schools to receive donations for their school garden programs! All made possible by you, the conscious shopper. These programs teach students about where their food comes from. Some kids will even have the chance to learn to grow their own food.

Kids deserve healthy and delicious food. When children learn about where their food comes from, the experience often sparks a lifelong learning journey. Through this NCG and Organic Valley partnership with the National Farm to School Network, you can help make a real change in your local communities.

Spend your milk money with more purpose this month. Let’s go out there and make a difference!
